About The Project:

Paris, City of lights, City of love, every tourists’ dream, perfect filming location, fashion pioneer, and source of inspiration for countless artists, writers, musicians, etc… But it’s also at the heart of Europe’s crack problem, has impossibly expensive housing, a high cost of living, constant metro problems, causes urban isolation, and many other difficulties… The many faces of Paris are revealed by our experiences, our moods, our identities, or even the changing weather; and yet all these versions of Paris, even the most contradictory ones, exist simultaneously.

This paradox is at the heart of Paris au Pluriel, a group exhibition curated by Clara Lang-Ezekiel. Seven different artists will exhibit artwork relating to their experience of Paris based on their respective identities. The multiple versions of Paris are shown by artists Amande Art, Kate Healy, Szab Kariko, Clara Lang-Ezekiel, Sarah Micho, Kata Szàraz, and Faten Triki from November 15 to November 27 2022 at Galerie Cécilia F. in Paris, France.

I showcased my artwork titled ‘SHEDDING’ which included 4 different art pieces centered on the theme of borders, home, culture and identity as influenced by Paris.
